I have been using this moisturiser ever since it was released so I was interested to see how other people will find it. Having powerful anti-oxidants in your moisturiser is a huge bonus (see article) that you will not notice immediately but will have long term benefits to the skin. All our panellists agreed that the moisturiser is soft and smooth on the skin and does moisturise very effectively. The smell was noticed by some but it is not an offensive odour and does dissipate rapidly. Personally I love this moisturiser as it does make my skin feel beautifully soft and velvety. As it has no SPF in the product, it can be used at night or under your regular sunscreen.

Clinique Continuous Rescue Antioxidant Moisturizer

Suzanne - Age 44

I have never been a huge fan of Clinique products but this is quite a nice one. It comes in a very standard clinical looking tube. The cream is very light and fresh - a little gives quite good coverage. I have slightly oily skin but it absorbed nicely with no greasiness. Even though it claims to be fragrance free, it still has a very clinical sterile smell when you first apply it. It is not an unpleasant smell, but it is there all the same. No miracles unfortunately, still had the oily t-zone by lunch time but I did not notice any other negatives. It is an ok product but I prefer to use products with an SPF - I am extremely conscious of sun protection. I think there are much better products available and also prefer organic products.

Amanda - Age 23

I was very interested in the product as I have been keen to try some products with antioxidants and I was excited about the strengthening abilities. I also love the luminous packaging! I only needed a small amount of this cream to cover my face and neck which is great as it means the tube would last me a few months. The cream absorbed very quickly in to my skin and didn't just sit on the surface of my skin like some other creams do. I was really impressed that it came in a tube as I don't like putting my fingers into a pot of cream as it's not hygienic. This product has virtually no fragrance which I imagine would be fantastic for sensitive or reactive skin types. This cream did moisturise my skin and made the pores seem finer but I didn't notice any drastic results. I was expecting my skin to glow with all the ingredients it contains but it didn't. Although I did like this cream I didn't find it any better than my current moisturiser so I would not buy this cream. I would give this product 3 stars as I found the packaging was very informative and easy to understand, the product was easy to use and the product was nice on the skin.

The packaging looks very professional and appealing. And lots of info in the box accompanying the tube, so that was a bonus to read about the product. The size is really good too and I can easily put it in my handbag. The application is very easy and the product went on smoothly. No white streaks and felt creamy on the skin initially. Then after 10mins, it dries up and feels really soft on the skin. The initial smell of the cream was not very pleasant for me, (smells a bit chemical.) After 10mins though the smell dissipates quite a lot which was good. I noticed that my face was well moisturised and felt smooth and soft on the skin even after a long day.

Melinda - Age 34

I wondered how different this moisturiser was from the others in the Clinique range, but I was eager to see how much it hydrated my skin. The moisturiser was very silky smooth to apply and it was easy to apply my foundation over it. It had a nice gentle scent. I've enjoyed using this moisturiser very much. I really think it has improved the smoothness and overall look of my skin. I didn't think this moisturiser was really outstanding in any way. I think you could get a moisturiser just as good if not better, for a cheaper price.

Jackie - Age 37

I was interested to try this as I used to use Clinique products when I was in my 20's. The moisturiser was very easy to apply, it absorbed quickly with no oily residue. Although it was fragrance free every time I applied it I thought I could smell menthol so perhaps it contains some. I found that my skin was very soft and smooth but after using it for about 8 days I found that I had very flaky, peeling skin on my forehead and around my mouth.2 days after going back to my regular moisturizer the problem was gone.
