My
first impressions were that the packaging was attractive,
and that the mascara had quite a pleasant smell. I was
impressed by the mascaras claims of being 100% natural.
I thought that the application of the mascara was fantastic.
It went on easily with no clumping, and separated my eyelashes
evenly due to the great applicator. It looked great when
it had just been applied, however, I didn't think much
of its lasting ability. By the end of the day it had smudged
every time I used it. The smell was very pleasant, and
the texture was very good. It did not clump at all and
applied very evenly. I don't think I would purchase this
mascara in the future. It is a very nice mascara to use,
but the fact that it smudges so easily and can't last
the day would deter me from buying it. I would give this
mascara 4 out of 5, the only thing letting it down was
smudging, otherwise I would have given it 5 out of 5.

This
product comes in a sleek gold tube, size is smaller then
the mascaras that I normally use but it contains 6.5gms
so the quantity is similar to other mascaras on the market.
The brush is of medium size. I found application to be
a bit tricky due to the shorter wand length. Lasting ability
was good, only started smudging when I went to the gym
in the late afternoon. There is no strong fragrance to
the product, although I detect a slight "clayish" smell
which is probably from the kaolin. Texture is quite "wet",
so I had problems with it going onto my eyelids, also
I had to use a lash comb because it can be clumpy on application.
It took a little longer to dry compared to other mascaras
and gives a natural looking finish to the lashes and didn't
irritate my sensitive eyes (contact lens wearer). I would
not purchase this again only because I prefer waterproof
mascaras since normal mascaras just don't "hold the curl"
for my stubborn Asian lashes.

At
first, I wasn't sure what the product is, just because
of the lack of labels. After finding out that it was indeed
mascara, I thought the packaging is quite classy in a
sleek slim gold tube with very discreet Minerelle branding.
The cardboard box was squashed in the mail but I still
think the box does not look as 'expensive' and elegant
as the gold tube. The mascara applies very easily and
coats my lashes effortlessly with minimal-to-no clumping.
You definitely need a couple of coats to build volume.
The colour is black and I find it to be quite glossy.
Given my oily lids, I thought the mascara lasts fairly
well, just as well as some of the drugstore mascaras I've
used. The texture was just right (not too thin/too gluggy).
No distinct smell, unless you deliberately put your nose
close to the wand, in which case it smells of faint chemicals.
I wouldn't purchase this for me again, just because the
mascara does not 'hold/set' the curl I have made with
the eyelash curler. However, if you already have naturally
curled lashes, this would definitely be a contender.

I
was quite curious about using an all natural mascara and
was looking forward to trying it since I have sensitive
eyes. The mascara comes in sleek, gold packaging. The
application of the mascara was great, since there was
no clumping and added emphasis to my eyes. However, I
found that the mascara didn't last very long since by
the end of the day I had noticeable dark circles under
my eyes. The smell of the product was quite distinct,
and was more of a natural smell. The texture was great;
it was clump-free for me! I would purchase this product
if using a natural and toxin-free product was important
to me.

I
don't place a great deal of emphasis on the aesthetics
of packaging, so the very plain gold mascara wand packaging
didn't really bother me. It fits rather well in my make-up
bag. The application was promising - no clumps on the
brush or on my lashes. I thought I might be onto something.
My lashes were lengthened and they were a lovely dark
colour. However, the lasting ability was pretty poor.
After an hour or so, I had the racoon eye effect. I must
say though, I am a waterproof mascara wearer as it definitely
has the staying power that works for me. The smell was
fine. Not too toxic at all. And the texture was fine.
In fact that's why I was impressed with there being no
clumps on the brush or my eye lashes. Pity about the staying
power though. For lack of staying power, and the racoon
eyes - I give it 2 stars.
