"Here's your chance to learn the latest and
best makeup looks that work for YOU!"

We are very excited to bring you "Wake-Up Your Make-Up" in home makeup workshop with our very own makeup artist Livia Mercer!

Dear Reader:

Allow me to explain what prompted me to create these at home workshops.

Throughout last year I have received so many requests for one-on-one makeup consultations from women who just wanted to learn how to maximise the use of their own makeup.

They didn't want to go to a department store and sit at a counter and be badgered to buy more products, they just wanted to learn how to maximise the use of their already existing make up and perhaps add one or two new items that they haven't used in the past.

They also wanted to experiment with cosmetics that they were unsure of or perhaps a little intrigued by but didn't know how to use. Towards the end of last year I attended an anti-ageing seminar that featured an international makeup artist. As he took to the stage 300 women literally sat forward and watched intrigued as he proceeded to do a most ordinary and basic makeup. Yet the room was silent as everyone watched in fascination.

I turned to my companion and said "this is so basic; I can do this with my eyes closed." So he said to me: "Well, why don't you! If they are impressed by this guy, you will blow them away." This got me thinking. What do women want to learn?

They want to learn how to be more confident in applying their make up as well as new and modern applications. They want to know what suits them best. And they want to know how to create the looks they see on their favourite celebrities. They want to know which are the best and latest products on the market.

So how can I help a large number of women but still spend one-on-one time with each one?

I did not come up with the answer to this by myself. I consulted and talked to a large number of people. Makeup artists, makeup companies, people in the cosmetics industry, readers of the magazine and generally anyone I came in contact with.

The general consensus was: go where the women are most comfortable. At home. And make it fun! This, I intend to do. I've personally designed the "Wakeup your Makeup" workshop to help you achieve the maximum benefit. How? By giving you one-on-one time to assess what's right for YOU.

So, read on for the details of this very exciting "Wake Up Your Makeup" at home workshops.

Look forward to meeting you personally,

Livia xx
