Skin Type: Oily Skin

Value for Money:
Yes, it's good value.

Comments:
A decent sunscreen that you can use on your face (without breaking out or greasing up) with the added bonus of slight tint. I only used it on weekends (non makeup days) and it was fantastic. If anything, a hint of powder over the top and you're ready to go out.

Skin Type: Combination Oily Skin

Value for Money:
Although it seems expensive for what is ultimately a tinted sunscreen, it is hard to find high protection sunscreens that feel nice on the skin and evens the complexion like this one, therefore I think it is great value for money. Also, you only need a small amount so the tube will last quite a while. I will definitely repurchase.

Comments:
I applied this product after I cleansed and moisturised in the morning. It did not 'ball' at all which is great, as sometimes this can occur between products. You only need a small amount, as it applies sheerly, yet evens out skin tone. It is creamy in texture but not too thick. Whilst it may feel a little greasy, or leave the skin shiny to begin with it does soak in. I sometimes followed with a little powder if I felt a little shiny. The smell is a little strong, as most SPF products are, but I don't mind if I am getting sunscreen protection. I tested this on its own [gives a nice polished look] and before makeup. Makeup applies over it smoothly and evenly, but I don't think it makes the makeup last any longer.

Skin Type: Normal Skin

Value for Money:
I won't buy this product as my perfectly normal skin reacted to it. It took a week to recover.

Comments:
I like the fact that it has very high sun protection and it claimed that it's safe to use around the eye area. I found the smell a little 'plastic-y' and it feels slightly oily although it is oil-free. However, it does glide on smoothly. Unfortunately, my perfectly normal skin reacted to it - my eye areas became red and blotchy, and my skin became cracked and itchy. Advice is to try the product at the counter before you buy it as the skin reaction varies.

Skin Type: Combination Sensitive Skin

Value for Money:
This product is a keeper for me, so far. Lightweight, fragrance- and oil-free, everything my acne-prone and sensitive skin would appreciate.

Comments:
I like the sheer tinted colour to this sun block, as it reduces the white cast sun blocks usually give me. It doesn't make me look shiny either, more of a dewy look, after application. The lotion texture also means that I don't have to use much, and it's easy to apply and blend into my skin.

Skin Type: Normal Combination Skin

Value for Money:
I would most definitely purchase this product once I run out!

Comments:
A good facial sunscreen is difficult to find. They're always too oily, too smelly, too sticky etc. I've tried dozens and as each summer ends I'm no closer to finding my holy grail sunscreen. Until now. Clinique Super City Block 30+ exceeded my expectations on all levels! It's a very lightweight, non-greasy lotion that glided onto my face smoothly and absorbed quickly without residue. It made my face feel soft and smooth and worked really well as a make-up primer. My face has tendencies to turn oily or breakout with sunscreens but as the day wore on City Block never melted or felt greasy, and my skin didn't have a bad reaction. I also really love the fact that it doesn't smell like a typical sunscreen. My face felt hydrated and balanced all day, my make-up stayed in place and I will certainly be re-purchasing this product!

A fantastic facial sunscreen with the highest SPF available in Australia. The oil free formulation is especially appreciated in our hot summers. This sunscreen contains titanium dioxide which is a physical sunscreen and it lasts on the skin all day. It is both a UVA and a UVB block offering excellent protection. Sadly one of our panellists had a reaction to the product.
