January 2007: David Jones High Shine Lip Gloss

Skin Type: Dehydrated, Oily Combination

Value for Money: Yes it's very good value, I will be buying the more colours in the range.

Comments: The colour is beautiful, the texture is not sticky and it stays on the lips for a few hours. The smell initially in the tube is not great however it has no smell once it is on your lips. The taste is not that nice.

Skin Type: Normal Combination

Value for Money: Yes this is reasonable for the amount you get; I would buy this product again.

Comments: This lip gloss is really thick, however it doesn't stay on very long, and regular application is required. I loved the style of the packaging - straight from the bottle to my lips (just squeeze). It made my lips look very shiny and I did get comments on it throughout the day.

Skin Type: Normal Skin

Value for Money: No it's not good value, I wasn't impressed.

Comments: The texture was quite gritty due to the shimmer, and it also felt watery so it came off very easily. The colour was subtle. Personally I didn't think it was the greatest gloss I've used. The smell was nice.

Skin Type: Oily Combination, Sensitive

Value for Money: Very good value, definitely buying this again.

Comments: Doesn't really have a smell which I like, nice thick texture, perfectly sticky, my hair didn't stick to it. It really gave my lips such a great shine & stayed on quite well. I am very impressed with this David Jones product & will buy the other colours too.

Skin Type: Dry Combination, Dehydrated Skin

Value for Money: I would absolutely buy this again; it is fantastic value for under $10.00

Comments: I absolutely loved this lip gloss (so did my 3 year old daughter)! I loved the high shine and because of the slight colour in the gloss, I didn't feel like I needed to wear lipstick when I went out to do the shopping. The lip gloss looks as good as or even better than lipstick. It also has a beautiful smell. I loved it.
