(TBR Feature- A Spa Day at Home...con't)

*
Set the scene by scenting the air. You can create your own spritzer
by mixing bottled water with a drop or two of aromatherapy oil such
as jasmine, chamomile or rosewood. Lightly spray your special mix
into the air. Or, light scented candles.
* Make your own foot scrub with white beach sand. A few drops of
peppermint oil will produce an invigorating foot scrub.
* Freeze freshly squeezed lemon juice into cubes. Drop these into
iced tea for a refreshing drink.
* Prepare green tea ahead of time. Chill well before drinking.
* Don't spend too long in the kitchen. Simply buy a roast chicken
from the supermarket the day before; strip meat into chunks and
toss with a fresh green salad. Prepare a simple vinaigrette with
fruit vinegar and olive oil. Dress a fruit platter with ginger syrup.
*
Put flower petals in a bowl of water and keep in the fridge overnight.
Pour into a basin and add a little rose oil for an amazing foot
soak.
* If you're having a Spa Day with Friends, borrow a kiddie's inflatable
wading pool. Fill with water and flower petals and pull up your
chairs next to the pool.
* If your budget permits, hire a professional masseur to come to
the house. Refresh, renew, pamper and indulge. Make this your special
day.
Make a diary entry to Remind yourself to plan A Spa Day every
month.
Make this your special day.

Organise a Spa Day for a girlfriend's birthday or as a
pre-wedding gift for the bride-to-be or for your mum on
Mother's Day.
Don't forget that a Spa Day for a Significant Other can
be a special time to pamper your boyfriend or husband. Consider
a manly clay mask or an invigorating foot scrub.
Choose a theme for your Spa Day. Think Gold Coast Summer
with frangipani scent, mango spritzers to drink, beach sand
foot scrubs. Or, plan around an Oriental theme with jasmine
in the air, green tea scented face mask and, for fun, fortune
cookies!
