This Liquid to Powder foundation was a little surprise in a bottle. As promised, it glides onto the skin effortlessly and does have a powdery finish. Some of our panellist found the white powdery residue on their fingers a bit off-putting, but other than that the foundation is excellent to wear giving you a very natural coverage. It also allows for a heavier application if needed. Great to see an SPF in the product. Overall, it is a nice inexpensive foundation that delivers what it promises.

Face of Australia - Powder Perfect Foundation SPF 15

Lovely, lightweight texture - velvety smooth and very pleasant to touch. I like my foundations lightweight and I don't like a rich, full coverage foundation, so this seemed ideal. I have never tried a cream to powder (liquid) foundation before, so I was keen to try it! I found it blends easily, and a little definitely goes a long way.

I only needed to use a small amount to get the desired coverage. It immediately felt soft and velvety smooth where applied, and stayed that way all day. My makeup still looked fresh, and felt soft and smooth at the end of the day. The fact that it dries to a powder finish really helps with the durability and longevity of this product. The texture is fantastic. It gives medium coverage, and helped even out my skin tone very well. Plus I like the fact that it has good UVA / UVB protection (spf15). I did not notice any smell with the product! It is an absolute bargain buy!!

Applying the product was easy; using either a sponge or fingertips gave the same appearance. The product felt nice to wear and was long lasting. It had a slight fragrance, pleasant and the texture was as described silky. I would purchase this product again as it is easy to apply, looks and feels nice to wear.

Cute small squeezy packaging. I have never used a liquid to powder product before. It was quite easy to apply with the fingertips. It has a slippery, siliconey texture which made it easy to apply but around the nose area it was a little difficult to smooth out, especially if I had any flakes of dry skin. It wore quite well but I'm less oily at the moment than I am in summer months but I think you can get around that by setting it with powder. There was no discernable smell and the texture was quite slippery.

The first thing I thought was "Who is Face Of Australia" - I must admit I had never heard of them. The packaging looked nice but also at the same time a bit cheap. The best way I can put it is by saying that if I was a teenager I would have thought it was grown-up. Once I took the lid off I really liked the spout for dispensing the foundation - it was easy to control the amount coming out. I found that a small amount of foundation could cover quite a bit of your face - so you didn't feel like you were wasting it.

The application looked better after a couple minutes. When applying foundation, obviously you get a little residue on your fingers, but I found that this foundation left a heavy white residue which did not rub off easily with your fingers; you had to wash your hands well. I figured this was to do with the liquid turning to powder - unfortunately I am not familiar with similar style foundations so I wasn't sure if this happens all the time. In saying that the foundation went far I then realised that I wasn't getting a good coverage (very light).

This was great for just everyday wear. It didn't come off on my clothes and once dry, it had a really nice feel on your face. It appeared to last all day but was a bit hard to tell with just a light coverage. I also did a heavier application and it did surprise me. It was better than I thought it would be. Again, lasted well all day and didn't rub off. My skin felt really nice and I didn't have any reaction to the sunscreen in it (which my skin is prone to do).

Nice neat compact packaging - great size & good closure for gym bag/travelling. The foundation went on smoothly and blended easily without streaking. It set quite quickly to powder finish. Nice light texture, enough to even out skin tone but not cover up.

Perfect tinted moisturiser for oily skin. My only complaint would be that it set to a noticeable white powder on my fingertips! The colour lasted all day & didn't sink into my pores. It didn't look like I was wearing any make up. By mid-afternoon things got a bit shiny, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with powder! There was almost no smell which was great.
I would absolutely purchase it again - it's a great, easy to apply light coverage foundation that does a reasonable job of controlling oil. The compact packaging & good closure make it excellent for travel too .
