Very cute packaging  – a beautiful pot of gloss!

What was your experience using the product?
Very glossy on lips however I found the product to be a little too sticky for my liking.

What benefit does this product have compared to others you have used in the past?
It was long lasting and gave my lips a really nice shimmer.

Would you recommend this product to others? Why?
Probably for the shine   – but be cautioned it is very sticky on the lips.

However winter brings with it it’s own challenges. The drying effect of the cold weather along with the heaters and air conditioners can really put a big toll on your skin.

So no matter what weather we are living in, there are certain tips and products that will keep your skin in top-notch condition. By looking after your skin year round you will never have to fear accidental skin exposure.

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
Nothing hydrates the skin like water and this comes in many forms not just drinking water. While that is very important water comes from many other sources. Eating water rich foods is the number one tip for well hydrated, smooth skin.
Our bodies store all the toxins and chemicals as body fat so they won’t damage the vital organs. We can help our bodies clean these out by steering clear of toxins such as cigarettes, alcohol, caffeine and all the junk food. Instead eat a diet full of fruit, vegetables, whole grains and nuts.

EXERCISE REGULARLY
You’ve heard this a million times but I’m going to reiterate it. Exercise gets your heart-rate up, increases circulations and helps to clean out the toxins from your system. It is also beneficial to reduce cellulite as lean tissue burn more fat during exercise.

EXFOLIATE

Dry body brushing is also effective; move the natural-bristled soft body brush in gentle circles from your feet up to your thighs and buttocks for 5 – 10 minutes for best results.

Sadly summer is slowly coming to an end in the southern hemisphere although we still have a few remaining warm days ahead of us. But we couldn’t say goodbye to summer without going over a few of our favourite products that have helped and saved us in the height of summer. These products survived in our beach bags, our purses and makeup bags and of course in our bathrooms. Without further delay here our summer survivor products. Our number one pick as this sunscreen really does feel light on the skin without that horrible greasy feel. At the beach or even using it every day, it soaks into the skin leaving it feeling light and non sticky.

Our number two pick is also a sunscreen as you can’t have enough of it during those hot sweltering days.
