I quiet liked this moisturiser. It was very easy to apply and a small amount went very far.
It left my skin feeling smooth and soft. It sunscreen has a nice soft smelling scent as well.

What benefit does this product have compared to others you have used in the past?
I think this product was very similar compared to other products I’ve tried – soft on the skin and blends in smoothly.

Would you recommend this product to others? Why?
Yes, for all the reasons above however it is quiet expensive for such a small bottle.  I don’t think I’d purchase this again as there are much cheaper products on the market that are similar to this one.

What was your first impression of the Product?
Here we go another rub on tan that’s going to look blotchy and  make my palms orange!!!  But I was wrong, I was very pleasantly surprised.

What was your experience using the product?
Definitely noticed the lack of odour as some tanning/bronzing products I have used have a distinct, and not always pleasant odours, so straight away that was a plus.  The first time I used this product I applied it to my face, neck and shoulders.  After approximately 5 or 10 minutes, it had settled into a really nice shade… even my face, I definitely would wear this on my face if I just wanted a real natural, refreshed look, I found it gave me an even complexion without having to wear any make up.  It didn’t streak or go blotchy and my biggest surprise was that it actually washed off my hands, with some soap and a washer and didn’t leave them orange… YAHOO! And yes, washed off in the shower very easily.

What benefit does this product have compared to others you have used in the past?
I used the shimmer bronzer and I really liked the hint of shimmer that it put on your skin, definitely a benefit, and also the lack of odour, another plus, but the big ones for me was that it didn’t streak or go blotchy like some other spray on tans or creams that I have used in the past and lastly but most importantly for me, it washes off your hands so you don’t have any tell tale signs that you have used a tanning product!

Would you recommend this product to others? Why?
I would definitely recommend this product to  others because of the many benefits I have listed above, beautiful shimmer quality to it, lack of odour, no streaking and blotching and washes off easily with soap and water, also at $24.95, very reasonably priced for the effects that it gives.

I was very curious when I saw this product. Wasn’t sure what it would be like. The colour looked good and I was eager to test it. The crayon looked very interesting and I was dying to try it!

What was your experience using the product?
I really liked this lip gloss. It gives a sheer but lovely colour to your lips. It is very moisturising and lasts quiet long! The gloss glides on smoothly and very easy to apply.

What benefit does this product have compared to others you have used in the past?
Very easy to use and mega moisturising! I love the colour shade. A light but glossy colour!

Would you recommend this product to others? Why?
Yes of course! I really liked the way the product looked on my lips.  This lip gloss was great for those days that I didn’t feel like wearing lipstick but just wanted a bit of colour.
The lip gloss is a bit pricey. I usually pay this much for a lipstick, however I really liked the subtle gloss finish so I probably would buy other colours in the future.

What was your first impression of the Product?
Wasn’t sure what the product was and when I should use it. The bottle is very cute and easy to pop into a handbag.

What was your experience using the product?
I think the lip enhancer soften my lips however it was very stingy when I applied it to my lips. It must be the plumping ingredients.

What benefit does this product have compared to others you have used in the past?
I don’t think this product differed much from other products I’ve used. I think the product is quite expensive actually and the stinging really bothered me. It took my lips a while to get over the stinging feeling. I’m not sure I really saw my lips ‘plump’ up either!

Would you recommend this product to others? Why?
No. Expensive and I don’t think the product really differs from less expensive ones!

It went on smoothly and my skin felt like silk, there was nothing oily watery or grainy, perfect texture. I felt instantly pampered. The product is thick but spreads on quite thin so you will get plenty of use out the jar.

What was your first impression of the Product?
I am always on the lookout for a good hand cream. I opened the bottle with excitement, since the ingredients sounded promising. My first impression was: Pure luxury! What a beautiful fragrance! Not too strong, not overwhelming just perfect.

What was your experience using the product?
My hands love it very much. My skin soaks it up very quickly. Since I have sensitive skin, the harsh Australian sun can cause dryness quickly. As soon as I apply the cream all the discomfort disappears. I also love the fact that the hand cream is not greasy.  Even my finger nails are nourished by it.

What benefit does this product have compared to others you have used in the past?
The container has 100 ml cream in it. It is quite a generous size, so it last quite a long time. I appreciate the natural ingredients. It gives me peace of mind, that I don’t poison myself through my skin. Instead I nourish my most vulnerable organ, my skin.

Would you recommend this product to others? Why?
Definitely. I think anyone who will try it, will love it at first site and smell.

I loved the refreshing green colour. Straight away I had a foot bath and applied the balm. What a lovely experience. It was smoothing, nourishing.

I did not have cracked heels, but my skin was dry. It made such a difference. It became smooth and moisturized. It has a cooling effect. What a lovely feeling, when tired, aching feet are just revived almost instantly, after applying the balm with a gentle massage.

I never had another product for my feet that had peppermint in it. So I really enjoy the cooling effect of this wonderful cream. I had a little wound on my feet that did not want to heal. Most probably the antioxidants and Vitamin A and E went into action, because the wound got smaller and smaller after every application and within a week it disappeared. I was very happy with that.

Yes I would. It will satisfy anyone who cares for a nice, nourished feet.

Once again, PURE LUXURY.

What was your experience using the product?
I don’t like to use soaps in my shower. I always using Body Wash for the reason, that it is gentler on my skin, and it is not drying it out. I loved the smell of the gentle herbs in it. I did not need to use a lot to have a luxurious shower that is always refreshing me.

What benefit does this product have compared to others you have used in the past?
The benefit comes from the fact that it is again, natural ingredients. The harsh chemical ones always dried my skin, after towelling I felt that my skin was burning, it appeared red and dry, also had a tightening feeling for a while, that made me feel very uncomfortable. All these effects are non existing with this beautiful Body Wash.

Would you recommend this product to others? Why?
The answer is YES.  Everybody needs some gentle, nourishing pampering time to time. Starting with this luxurious Body Wash we can start off on that road. When our senses are heightened we can have a happy start for the day. Enjoy!

Disappointment.  From the rest of the range I was expecting a much better scent. But not a bad body wash.

It foamed up well, spread easily, came off well, it didn’t strip the skin too much. But after smelling and using the other products in the range  must say the scent really was a let down. Imagine a plasticky pomegranate, and that’s what it smells like.

What benefit does this product have compared to others you have used in the past?
It was actually a good body wash and doesn’t feel all chemically like others so I would still use it but would probably not buy it again.

Maybe, if you like the smell then maybe, like I said its not a bad body wash but just not the best.

The body wash did not have a sweet smell which I would have like but the fact that it is natural outweighs that fact. It feels very refreshing to shower with.

This is by far the most beautiful nail polish I have used in a while!  I got so many comments wearing it and It also went with a lot of my outfits too. I found it extremely versatile and beautiful The colour is not too intense however it is different enough to draw attention to the nails without distracting from an outfit.

The nail polish wore very well, I applied two coats followed by a top coat. It lasted 6 days without any chipping and almost another 4 days before it started looking a bit shabby. Overall I waas very pleased both with the colour and the wearability of this nail polish and I loved wearing it. In fact I will keep wearing it until it runs out!

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
Nothing hydrates the skin like water and this comes in many forms not just drinking water. While that is very important water comes from many other sources. Eating water rich foods is the number one tip for well hydrated, smooth skin.
Our bodies store all the toxins and chemicals as body fat so they won’t damage the vital organs. We can help our bodies clean these out by steering clear of toxins such as cigarettes, alcohol, caffeine and all the junk food. Instead eat a diet full of fruit, vegetables, whole grains and nuts.

2012 Beauty Resolutions

The time of the year has arrived again when everyone is making new-year resolutions.
You can tell this by the increased number of people walking along the waterfront, working out at the gym and browsing the products in the health food isles of the supermarket. Research also tells us that traffic also increases on job finding and dating sites too as people are resolving to change their personal lives too. This are all very positive steps so we have put together out top 10 Beauty Resolutions to kick off the New Year.

1. Clean out my makeup case and drawers and determine to throw out all old and partially used cosmetics that I never use but keep hanging on to.

2. Get to bed earlier and get more sleep to reduce puffiness and red eyes. Know how much sleep you need for optimal rest and performance and endeavour to sleep that much.

3. Give myself regular home manicures and pedicures not just as a treat. Moisturize dry cuticles, removed chipped polish, and keep experimenting with all the wonderful colours of nail polish out there.

4. Take better care of my teeth, especially when it comes to flossing after meals and brush with whitening toothpaste. Nothing is as distracting from a beautiful face as yellow, stained teeth.

5. Drink more water! I always forget to drink enough water yet I know that it is the #1 hydrating product available. The average adult woman should drink at 8 cups or 2L of water a day. How many cups have you had today?

6. Remove all my makeup and mascara before bed each night, even if it’s mineral makeup. Sleeping with your makeup on can dry out your skin, clog your pores and can lead to premature aging.

7. Force myself to part with old, favourite mascaras. This is a hard one for me as mascaras only have a life of 3 months before becoming unsafe due to bacteria in the product. So even if you have more mascara left in the tube, force yourself to Throw if OUT!

8. Exfoliate my body regularly in the shower and then moisturise straight after with body cream or oil. As I always seem to be in a bit of a rush, this is often overlooked however by moisturizing after a shower, your skin retains more moisture than if you were to apply it to totally dry skin.

9. Wear bold colours this summer. I always seen to go for my safe favourites, so this is the time to experiment and try shades previously unworn.

10. Clean makeup brushes regularly. I always put this task off even though it keeps brushes lasting a lot longer and is also healthier. So from now on I am cleaning them once a month!

One of the most useful modern inventions is the pre-moistened wipes. It started with the baby wipes and soon evolved to the hand wipes that we all have hundreds of, from KFC. So while these are very handy to have on hand for messy, greasy emergencies especially where children are concerned, my personal favourite application of the wipes is the facial, makeup remover wipes. Avon believes in a future without breast cancer! in continued support of the cause, Avon once again launches a range of pink ribbon products – with 100% of profits going towards the breast cancer crusade.

Thanks to the generous support of our dedicated Sales Representatives and Customers, Avon Australia & nz has raised over $10 million since the launch of our Breast Cancer Crusade in 1996, and substantially increased breast cancer awareness.

All profits from the sale of the pink ribbon products will go towards the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade, which supports two organisations: The Australian New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group, which conducts a national, independent, collaborative clinical trials research program for the prevention and cure of breast cancer; and the YWCA Encore Programme, which provides community support to women who have had breast cancer surgery, through counseling and exercise.

In addition to raising funds through the sale of Pink Ribbon products, Avon sponsors the annual Avon Race for Research, an event of the Breast Cancer Institute of Australia. Launched in 1996, the race is aimed at raising funds for breast cancer research and increasing awareness of the disease. The 5 km run/walk takes place in New South Wales’ Newcastle Foreshore and attracts participants from beginners and families to serious athletes. This year’s race will be held on Sunday 23 October and Avon will donate $500,000 to support breast cancer research.

The Avon Race for Research is part of Avon’s international Walk Around the World for Breast Cancer initiative, launched in 1995 as part of Avon’s global Breast Cancer Crusade. This worldwide series of walking and running events mobilises hundreds of thousands of people across the globe, raising money and breaking down barriers to awareness and access to care while working to eradicate the disease.

Since its inception in 1992, the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade has raised and donated over $660 million US globally. Funding supports cutting-edge research to find a cure for or prevent breast cancer, programs that enable all patients to access quality care, and education and awareness.

What was your first impression of the Product?
I liked the bottle and was grateful that it had a small hole in the lid so that I wouldn’t accidentally spill and waste it.

What was your experience using the product?
After squirting a small amount onto a cleansing cloth I was amazed at how easily it removed my eye makeup and left the whole eye area feeling really refreshed.  Having said that, I was very surprised an hour later when I was quite tired and my eyes began to water when I yawned. I dabbed my eyes and found quite a bit of residue mascara on the tissue which I thought had been removed.

What benefit does this product have compared to others you have used in the past?
It’s not oily and I didn’t need to use very much to get a good result

Would you recommend this product to others? Why?
I would because the packaging is not too large & doesn’t take up too much room on the bathroom bench, and the product is of great quality.
